~ Introduction

Welcome! This is a fanclub dedicated to Asch and Luke from Tales of the Abyss! Why? Because they are pretty, cool, awesome, funny, and pretty, with great personalities that you can't help but love, and they're pretty! Its a place to gather all their fans and the gorgeous art there is of them that I know is out there!

You don't have to be a hardcore fan to join - we're open to everyone from the people who think they're kinda cool (even though you like someone else better) to the rabid fangirls like myself. Just make sure to check out the rules below.

Spoiler warning. When dealing with Luke and Asch there are inherent spoilers and I'm not planning to label them all as such. So be forewarned.

November 11th

I appologize for the lack of updates, I've been in midterm land for the past few weeks but that's all finally behind me, well at least until finals but I digress.

I officially started the Christmas Contest so you can check it out here: [link] For those who wanted to do a secret santa: [link] is the one I'm holding, but I don't doubt there are plenty of others going on around dA as well if you don't want to enter mine. I'm still trying to come up with a good prize for the Christmas contest so if you guys have any ideas as to some of the things you'd like to see as prizes - now would be a really good time to suggest them ^.~

As for the last contest, seeing as there was only 2 entries, rather than go through the voting process I'm simply going to award the prize to both participants. Each entry will get half the time as the club's featured deviation until the end of the next contest. So a super huge thanks to the 2 of you that participated! I hope the participation rate will be a bit higher this time around, but I do know its a really hectic time of year for just about anyone in school.

Club Rules:
1. This is a club for fans of Luke and/or Asch. Please be respectful and don't be bashing either of them.
2. No bashing/insulting of any fellow members either. Be respectful - be nice - you don't have to agree - but be polite about it.
3. No original characters please
4. No AschXLuke or LukeXAsch (or any combination/derivative thereof) is allowed in the gallery. There is already a club for them as a romantic pairing here on DA. This club is open to any fans of Luke and Asch, and you are more than welcome to join and submit your art ~ but we'd like to keep our gallery free of them as a pairing for the fans who don't like them as a couple. Innocent stuff is okay, but keep it innocent. Hugging is fine, kissing is not. (I also prefer if the picture is not labeled/titled as LukeAsch - if it's innocent and you still want to submit it, thats fine and I'm more than happy to put it up - but I may change the title.)

6. DO NOT FAV CLUB DEVIATIONS!! This one is important.. please direct all comments and favs back to the original artist. Do not make me sic a very angry Asch on you.
7. Any questions or concerns can be directed one of two places: you can note the club or send a note to either admin.

Joining:
1. You have to like Luke or Asch (or both!) They don't have to be your favorite - but there has to be a bit of love for them in there somewhere ^.~
2. Send a note to the club titled "Join".
3. If you just watch the club you will not be added until you've sent a note. This is just to avoid confusion on my part.
4.Messages left on the club page will not be checked regularly...please just send a note ^^
5. While you don't have to - after you join, if you watch the club - you'll be up to date on all the contests and other events we may be holding.

Submissions:
1. Send a note to the club titled "submission" or "fanart" or something simlilarly identifiable and we'll add it to the club.
2. It can be any media, fics, poems...whatever as long as it has Luke and/or Asch.
3. It can have any other characters in it (no original characters please) as long as Luke or Asch is more or less the central focus.
4. All comments and favs will be directed back to the original.
