~ Introduction

Welcome! This is a fanclub dedicated to Asch and Luke from Tales of the Abyss! Why? Because they are pretty, cool, awesome, funny, and pretty, with great personalities that you can't help but love, and they're pretty! Its a place to gather all their fans and the gorgeous art there is of them that I know is out there!

You don't have to be a hardcore fan to join - we're open to everyone from the people who think they're kinda cool (even though you like someone else better) to the rabid fangirls like myself. Just make sure to check out the rules below.

Spoiler warning. When dealing with Luke and Asch there are inherrent spoilers and I'm not planning to label them all as such. So be forewarned.

Hey everyone - hope things are going well. Spring is finally here ~ winter (and Christmas) are over and its a time of new beginnings! If you haven't already, check out the new contest: [link] We're looking forward to seeing the entries ~ hopefully there'll be enough time - the deadline is June 21st. But since I know that falls around the end of school for a lot of people - I'm pretty flexible about the deadline - if you've got an awesome idea you really want to get in - just send me a note - I don't mind extending it a week or two if necessary (but I swear I won't let it drag like our last contest did. Now that I'm out of school I should be able to stay on top of things.)

Not for this contest, but for future ones, I was debating making the prize a Luke or an Asch plushie. Would that interest anyone? (Since I'd have to make it - I need to know ahead of time that there's some interest in doing a contest for a prize like that)

Something else I'd like to compile is a list of any external links members would like to showcase~ things like ff.net accounts or other sites you may host artwork for people to browse (contingent of course on their being some Luke and/or Asch centric content). Since I know there are quite a few people who have Asch and Luke fan fiction but don't post it on DA- I think it would be nice to have a way to make that a part of the club as well. Thoughts?

Club Rules:
1. This is a club for fans of Luke and/or Asch. Please be respectful and don't be bashing either of them.
2. No bashing/insulting of any fellow members either. Be respectful - be nice - you don't have to agree - but be polite about it.
3. No original characters please
4. No AschXLuke or LukeXAsch (or any combination/derivative thereof) here please. There is already a club for them as a romantic pairing here on DA. This club is open to any fans of Luke and Asch, and you are more than welcome to join and submit your art ~ but we'd like to keep our gallery free of them as a pairing for the fans who don't like them as a couple. Innocent stuff is okay, but keep it innocent. Hugging is fine, kissing is not.
5. DO NOT FAV CLUB DEVIATIONS!! This one is important.. please direct all comments and favs back to the original artist. Do not make me sic a very angry Asch on you.
6. Any questions or concerns can be directed one of three places: you can note the club, send a note to an admin.

Joining:
1. You have to like Luke or Asch (or both!) They don't have to be your favorite - but there has to be a bit of love for them in there somewhere ^.~
2. Send a note to the club titled "Join".
3. If you just watch the club you will not be added until you've sent a note. This is just to avoid confusion on my part.
4.Messages left on the club page will not be checked regularly...please just send a note ^^
5. While you don't have to - after you join, if you watch the club - you'll be up to date on all the contests and other events we may be holding.

Submissions:
1. Send a note to the club titled "submission" or "fanart" or something simlilarly identifiable and we'll add it to the club.
2. It can be any media, fics, poems...whatever as long as it has Luke and/or Asch.
3. It can have any other characters in it (no original characters please) as long as Luke or Asch is more or less the central focus.
4. All comments and favs will be directed back to the original.
